About the Meetings

The Brisbane Psychoanalytic Self Psychology Group meets twice monthly to discuss the psychoanalytic literature on the subject of self psychology, and its clinical application in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Meetings are held in Group Therapy Room One at the Toowong Private Hospital, Milton Road, Toowong, Brisbane. All meetings begin at 7:10pm.

The FIRST Monday of each month is devoted to the chapter-by-chapter study of a nominated, self-psychological text.

The THIRD Monday of each month is devoted to the study of a specific journal article or other chapter.

Members of the Australian Psychological Society can earn Professional Development points at our meetings.
